Congress was never meant to be a lifetime job
Term limits keep government accountable to the people.

Stand for a
stronger America.
There is an America that lives in the heart of every person who has ever stood for the national anthem or felt something stir at the words "We the People." It is the belief that power belongs to the people, that no one is above the law, and that those we send to Washington go to serve the common good — and then come home. Most Americans still believe in that America. They just no longer see it.
Somewhere between that promise and today something changed. The people we send to represent us stop coming home. Staying becomes the objective. And the longer they stay the more the system works for itself — for the parties, for the lobbyists, for the billionaires who fund them all. Congress sits at 17% approval. Not because people stopped caring. Because the system stopped listening.
A Protect America Member has decided to do something about it. They stand for the America the Founders designed — where representatives serve and then go home to live under the laws they created. They spread this cause to their neighbors and their families because every movement that ever changed this country spread the same way — one American telling another that enough is enough. And they support this mission financially because 340 million Americans cannot be reached on passion alone. Five dollars a month. Ten dollars a month. Whatever they can give — because nothing changes until a term limits amendment is ratified and that fight requires fuel.

Why do we need Term Limits?
How We Win: The Article V Strategy
Step 1 — 34 States
State legislators in 34 states must pass matching Article V applications on the same subject.
When 34 states apply, Congress is required to call a convention.
So far, 14 states have passed term-limits applications.
Step 2 — Convention Proposes Amendment
Delegates from each state meet and vote on a single-subject amendment — in this case, a congressional term-limits amendment.
The convention may discuss or refine the amendment text, but it must stay within the subject the states approved.
Step 3 — 38 States Ratify
Just like every amendment, 38 states must ratify the final amendment for it to become part of the Constitution.
Neither Congress, the President, nor the courts can block ratification once the states approve it.
